Primus Restaurant is the brainchild of executive Chef John J. Daly III’s 25 years in the industry and his passion for delivering top quality crafted food without the price tag of fine dining. The result — an unrivaled seafood and big game dining experience, with locally sourced produce and grains combined in thoughtfully prepared meals, a la carte options and vegetarian selections paired with a carefully curated wine list that is sure to please the most discriminating palates.
Primus’ intimate and bright atmosphere is the perfect place for a light bite and drink at the bar from 2-5 or dining with a group of friends, 6 days a week in downtown Durango. With a dining room downstairs and the option to reserve our dining room upstairs for private events we have the capacity to accommodate small or large groups.
